To use the Mobile Wallet service, you must have completed the Know Your Customer (KYC) process in the Alma neobanking app and obtained an Alma checking account and virtual debit card. You must also have a compatible mobile device and an account with Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Once you're eligible and have a virtual debit card from Alma, you can add it to your preferred mobile wallet by following the instructions provided by the wallet provider. Please note that the mobile wallet provider's terms and conditions will also apply to your use of their service.
When you use your virtual debit card via a mobile wallet, the transactions will be subject to the terms and conditions of your Alma checking account. Any limits and terms associated with your account also apply to mobile wallet transactions.
Protecting your account and information is crucial. Ensure that your mobile device is secured with a passcode, PIN, biometric authentication, or other security measures. In case of a lost or stolen device, freeze your card and immediately contact Alma customer support to prevent unauthorized access.
Alma is not responsible for any unauthorized transactions or losses resulting from the misuse of your mobile wallet or virtual debit card. It's your responsibility to maintain the security of your mobile wallet and comply with its terms of use.
We may update these Mobile Wallet Terms of Use from time to time. You will be notified of any changes through the Alma neobanking app or other communication methods we provide. Continued use of the Mobile Wallet service after changes constitute your acceptance of the updated terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Mobile Wallet service if we suspect unauthorized or fraudulent activity. You can also discontinue using the service at any time.
